SCHOLARSHIP FUND

We understand that education is important for a brighter future and the global economy. Our Scholarship Fund provides resources to empower the next generation of leaders. We award funding through an open application process for high school senior level students based in the Greater Houston metropolitan area. All applications are made subject to review of the organization’s reputation and activities and its agreement to comply with applicable terms and conditions. Submission of a scholarship application does not guarantee funding.

Scholarship Fund Guidelines and Instructions

All applicants must be enrolled as a 12th grade student for the current and based in the Greater Houston metropolitan area. All applicants must submit through our online application system. It is important each applicant provides details concerning their educational background, school activities and financial information. All applications are due no later than December 31st.

Step 2 – Prepare and submit your personal statement using our online application. The EMITO Foundation only accepts scholarship requests through our application portal.

Step 3 – Our automated system will confirm your submitted application has been received. If you do not receive email confirmation of your submission, please send an email to info@emitofoundation.org. Due to the volume of inquiries, we cannot respond individually to requests for status updates.

Selection Process

Students in Class-min
  1. Applications will be reviewed by an internal committee and management will determine if your application will be awarded a scholarship.
  2. All recipients awarded a scholarship will be notified via email on or before March 15th. All funding decisions are final. Upon receipt, all recipients will be required to submit a copy of their acceptance letter for the college or university expected to attend and any necessary information to submit payment.
  3. All scholarship checks will be mailed directly to the student’s college or university of choice on or before July 18th of the next following year pending graduation status of the student
