Houston Africa Day is an annual celebration that highlights the vibrant culture, heritage, and contributions of Africa and its diaspora. On May 25, 2024, the 4th Annual Houston Africa Day brought together dignitaries, including Her Excellency Ambassador Hilda Suka-Mafudze, African Union Ambassador to the United States, and ambassadors from 13 African nations. This year’s theme, “Arts, Culture, and Heritage: Levers for Building the Africa We Want,” featured business forums, cultural performances, and a culinary showcase of Africa’s rich flavors.
