Emito Foundation
EMITO Foundation is the primary philanthropic arm of Wazobia African Market. It is a vehicle which we use to invest in the well-being of our community, increase confidence for those in need and hope for a better future.
Over the years, we have strived to provide in various ways to lend our support financially and in-kind to communities in need. Moreover, it is an honor to serve and further our mission to open doors of equity in the community.
Since the inception of EMITO Foundation in 2019, it has awarded funding for educational and economic development to support sustainable community initiatives in the local Houston area. We believe that community starts at home to pave the way for generational change. The EMITO Foundation is more than just philanthropy but aims to strengthen positive impact in the local communities.
